Weekend Wisdom: Joy Everywhere

Today’s video succinctly portrays this: Joy, as expressed in a dance, is universal. It does not matter where you live; whether in a poor or developing country.

I was so uplifted by the video; that I felt the need to spread some joy, especially on this 4th of July weekend (Good wishes to all my readers from America)!! Even if you’re in a hurry, do stop for a moment to watch it. It’s guaranteed to bring on a smile in you!

Oh yes….it’s nice that Singapore, my lovely home, is also featured. Watch for it!!

Evelyn, this has to be one of the best videos I’ve ever watched on YouTube! I feel really good watching this … thanks for sharing!

Hi Irene, I just let my kids watched it. It was a good way to introduce them about countries around the world. They loved it! They were screaming in excitement when they came to the Singapore scene!

Have a great weekend,
Evelyn

@Vered, it is such as simple idea; yet he conveys love and joy so beautifully.

@Jenn, This is the 2008 version, a recently published one, I believe. Thanks for pausing at the “highlight” point! I still get this triumphant feeling of “ooomphh” as I am writing this reply. My kids just made me play it over again!

Hahaha.. I love it.

Matt is awesome. He lives in Seattle and is coming to speak at my work in two weeks.

His first world dancing video is really well produced as well. I recommend it.

Thanks for sharing Evelyn

This video, especially the voice, is simply heavenly, it goes straight to my soul, and lift it up…..no surprise why it has been spreading like fire.

There is another good one at youtube: http://youtube.com/watch?v=smhK8l2SF-s which has been around for a while. This video does not allow embedding, but I personally found it to be equally inspiring.

Thanks for sharing!

Dear Evelyn

That was amazing. How did you do the dancing video? I liked it. You know this would have been an awsome presentation to a class. But right now my classes are online on the computer. Please pray I reach my goals well though I reached one of them which was smiling, (LAUGH) I have this degree goal I truly need prayer for that I be able to obtain this degree it has not been smooth so thank you for the video I truly liked it.

Sincerely

Hi Evelyn,

Love this! My passion is dancing, so I’d seen it before, but I can watch it over & over & over. It brings a huge smile to my face every time. Matt was brilliant to come up with this concept and then get paid/sponsored to travel around the world!

@ Tina Su — You are soooo lucky to be able to hear Matt speak. Hope you can you share what he talks about with us on your blog.

Evelyn - July 6, 2008

@Tina, I gotta go check Matt’s first video then. Are you going to be doing a dancing gig in the office too?? Lucky you!!

@Jordan, thanks for the link!! I didn’t realise that he has already so many fans.

@Miss Bridget, do share it in class! I wish you all the best in your degree goal!

@Linda, you are right – Matt is really brilliant!!

I’m amazed at the number of responses this weekend. I thought that everyone will be away, being 4th of July weekend!!

Hv an awesome day,
Evelyn

That was beautiful. Out of all the terrible things you hear going on around the world, it is nice to see everyone joyous and happy.
