Oracle Card Reading For Divine Guidance

Do you use divination cards to receive guided messages sometimes? I have been enjoying the use of my Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards.
The cards are from Doreen Virtue and feature beautiful artwork of cross-cultural goddesses from Celtic, Mayan, Egyptian, Greek, Tibetan, Buddhist and others. Some examples include Isis, Athena, Kuan Yin, Green Tara and Mother Mary. I don’t use to take card readings seriously for years but it has been amazing what has come up recently.
I usually invite clients for a card reading at the end of their sessions with me. I asked that they approach the reading with openness, curiosity and playfulness. Even with bearing a healthy skepticism in mind, the cards they picked would invariably present some helpful meaning to them. I have no intention of claiming credit for the divination, because I merely facilitate the process (which is really simple). The messages are from their own guides and angels.
Self Divination
I do not usually use the cards on myself but was prompted to do so over the weekend. My friend, a life coach himself, reminded me during a telephone chat that I could give myself a card reading. You would think I’d have thought about it myself! The truth was I did not! I was trying to analyze a project offer that came up and pondering on which work direction I would like to go.
So right after my meditation two nights ago, I laid out the cards in front of me and asked for some spiritual guidance. While each card should be interpreted in the context of the question being asked, I felt that what was written in the guidebook provided (that came with the stack of oracle cards) was directly relevant. The cards that came up for me (see picture above) were:
Dana (High Priestess)
“You have Divine knowledge that can help others through your spiritual teachings.”
The Dana card is the same one featured on the cover of the pack. Dana is a one of the most ancient Celtic goddess, extending to the pre-Gaelic times of Ireland. She is extremely powerful and magical. She helps in manifestations, alchemy and divine magic.
Dana highly recommends not to delay in expressing ancient wisdom. Dana also promises to assist in the manifesting of platforms for teaching. The Dana card also says “all forms of teaching are equally valuable, no matter how many lives you touch.”
Aine (Leap of Faith)
“Take a risk and put your heart’s true desire into action!”
Aine is a powerful Celtic goddess, who has been highly revered in Ireland. She helps in providing courage in the realization of dreams.
The Aine card says “Procrastinating about your dreams won’t make things go away. Neither will it make them happen. Indecision is the death of the soul’s burning passion to improve, grow and learn. Don’t worry about making the wrong decision. Instead, worry about making no decision at all! Then take time to pray, meditate, investigate, research, go on nature walks….and make your decision.” Hmmmmm….what wonderful advice!!
Freyja (Be Bold)
“Unleash your adventurous side. Take risks and be daring!”
Freyja is a Nordic earth goddess of fertility, celebration and passion. She rides in a chariot pulled by mighty cats across the rainbow bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. Unafraid of her sexual power, she teaches us to appreciate our attractiveness and to enjoy ourselves. Friday was, in fact, named in her honor!
Freyja advices “success comes not from timidity but from committing yourself fully to realizing your dream. Hold the clear intention of success, and it shall come about.” Bingo to the holding of the intent!
Reflections
All in all, being bold and playful appears to be the message for me in taking future steps! Out of three cards, two of them provided the exact same advice. I was “told” to celebrate my success with a party or splurging on a wonderful indulgence! I certainly will follow up on that one 🙂
One final note. I thought that it was also pretty amazing that two of the cards featured the country “Ireland”. The word stood out for me because I have been getting a flood of clients from Ireland in the last two months. I decided to check my akashic records if I had past lives in Ireland. And….the answer was yes!
Magical Unicorns Oracle Card Reading
Pay my daughters a visit and get them to do a card reading for you!! They operate a stall that says “Angelic Card Reading Stall” for make-believe. Then again, they won’t mind getting paid for real either! Are the readings facilitated by them any accurate? You bet! Some were remarkably insightful!
I bought the Magical Unicorn Oracle Cards for my two girls a few months back and taught them how to use it. This stack is especially good for the young because most children can relate to unicorns and the enclosed guidebook is fairly simple to use. A six year-old can easily read it!
Many of the 44 cards have words and paintings suggested by Indigo and Crystal Children, making their positive messages even more magical. Both my daughters love reading the cards for each other and for friends who come over.
