How to Propel Your Point of Power for Prosperity in the Present

“The Point of Power is always in the Present Moment.” Louis Hay

point of power in the present moment

If you have been stuck in a financial rut for some time, you may believe that it is not possible to change your situation. You are feeling disempowered, frustrated and angry over the lack of progress. You are in agony, as you cannot find a way out of your problems.

Let’s take the example of being in a situation whereby you are barely making ends meet. Perhaps, you see that the problem lies in the job that you are having or it is because you have just started on a new entrepreneurial venture, which has yet to take off. Whatever it is, you are not able to afford the things you would like to have.

4 Ways to Celebrating Your Divine Abundance

“The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.” – Oprah Winfrey

“Dream on it. Let your mind take you to places you would like to go, and then think about it and plan it and celebrate the possibilities. And don’t listen to anyone who doesn’t know how to dream.” Liza Minnelli

celebrate divine abundance

One thing that I realized recently is that I have not been tuning into the vibrational qualities of celebration enough.

For instance, I have been so focused on getting tasks done that I have set aside “celebration”. The thing is celebration involves attention. While it may not be necessary to always celebrate with a big party, it is important to spend a couple of minutes saying a silent prayer of thanks to acknowledge a gift or a blessing. (A gratitude journal is a great way to start, for instance!)

3 Reasons Why You May Object to Doing Marketing Promotion

“I’ve always viewed myself as a brand. When I started 10 years ago, that was very controversial. ‘Marketing’ and ‘PR’ were dirty words for the literary world, but that has changed. Once the book is finished, I want as many people as possible to read it.” – Camilla Lackberg, award-winning crime writer

work from home business

Many of us dislike the idea of having to do marketing and promotion. We may even view it as “dirty work” altogether. We find it a real pain with a capital P. Yet, promotion is one of the factors crucial to business success and consequently, financial abundance.

After setting up our website, we would like to believe “build it and they will come”. However, it is possible to spend years twiddling our thumbs, waiting for traffic and hoping to be discovered. This is not likely to happen if we do not do something to even let others know that our products, services or websites exist.

5 Anxiety-Reducing Benefits of Cultivating Loving-Kindness

5 Anxiety-Reducing Benefits of Cultivating Loving-Kindness

by Stephen Joseph

In the first few moments of being introduced to the practice of loving-kindness, I was admittedly a little less than enthusiastic. I thought it thoroughly pointless and something only pretentious bohemians or experienced Buddhist practitioners pursued.

I was in my early twenties and suffering terribly under the ravages of at least three separate anxiety disorders. My mind was destabilised and full of fear. All my hopes for the future lay shattered and depression was beginning to knock at the door.

How to Handle the Serial Drama Queen In Your Life

“I teach people that no matter what the situation is, no matter how chaotic, no matter how much drama is around you, you can heal by your presence if you just stay within your center.” – Deepak Chopra

drama queen

Drama queens are those with the regular habit of blowing things out of proportion. Drama queens angst over the tiniest of details, makes a big deal and strives to get the attention of people around. Note that the tendency to create a scene is not limited to females alone. There can be drama queens, there can also be drama kings. Know of a friend or colleague who is one?

Using tears as her weapon, the drama queen is great with wrenching your heartstring. She has an insatiable hunger for attention. Not a day goes by without her trying to draw you in with some imaginary near-death experience.

Self-Love Interview Story: Gift of Presence

“Show your body that you are aware of yourself even in the moment that you are serving another.” Joy Holland during the interview call

Over a week ago, I invited Joy Holland to have a chat with me on “vesting presence as a self-love gift”. Joy Holland blogs about the gift of presence in order that we can shine our inner brilliance. She is a heart healer, clarity facilitator and practitioner of presence. She also works a lot with women who are abused.

In particular, I wanted to find out from Joy how she – as a mother to two children – brings presence into her everyday life. As a mother myself, I can understand how difficult it is to stay focused in the moment, especially when there is something go on with the children. Many mothers I know tend to be in a state of worry (please read 25 coping tips for stressed-out mothers here).

I Believe: When What You Believe Matters – Book Review

“The power of belief, the absolutely awesome incredible power of belief, is the genie in your life. Let me say that again: The absolutely awesome and incredible power of your belief is the genie in your life.” — Eldon TAylor

Believe in Yourself

I have had the pleasure of receiving a copy on I Believe: When What You Believe Matters!, the latest book written by Eldon Taylor, a Hay House Author, for review. It was published a week ago. To be honest, having read many books of the same genre, I was not very excited to get to it initially. However, after picking it up, I have to acknowledge that I found it rather good. I share my thoughts below.

We already know that our beliefs largely create or influence our reality. If we expect to succeed, we are more likely to experience success. Conversely, if we believe that we are going to fail, we are likely to meet with failure. Yet, do we take the trouble to truly examine some of the beliefs that we hold on to? Are these beliefs serving or sabotaging us?

How to Build Healthy Self-Esteem By Balancing the Ego

build healthy self esteem

Building healthy self esteem is a popular topic area with many personal development experts. After all, it is considered to be the foundation for individual success. Obviously, if you have low self esteem, it can become hard to achieve much in life. As the experts say, you need to believe that you are worthy of success in order to attract success. Mostly, everyone likes to do business with you if you have a winning attitude, one that reeks of success.

“Too many people overvalue what they are not and undervalue what they are.”- Malcolm S. Forbes

According to Freud, an important part of humanity is the ego. The traditional formula for success is to build the ego so that you increase your sense of self-worth. The danger is that a strong ego can eventually lead to an inflated sense of self. You experience the constant need to prove yourself as superior to others. It is a false sense of self-esteem that you are building, if you ask me.
