Master yourself to manifest abundance
Master yourself to manifest abundance
“I’ve always viewed myself as a brand. When I started 10 years ago, that was very controversial. ‘Marketing’ and ‘PR’ were dirty words for the literary world, but that has changed. Once the book is finished, I want as many people as possible to read it.” – Camilla Lackberg, award-winning crime writer
Many of us dislike the idea of having to do marketing and promotion. We may even view it as “dirty work” altogether. We find it a real pain with a capital P. Yet, promotion is one of the factors crucial to business success and consequently, financial abundance.
After setting up our website, we would like to believe “build it and they will come”. However, it is possible to spend years twiddling our thumbs, waiting for traffic and hoping to be discovered. This is not likely to happen if we do not do something to even let others know that our products, services or websites exist.

Could your low self worth be affecting your net worth?
Oddly enough, whether you perceive yourself as worthy or not can affect your net worth. According to the dictionary, self worth means the quality of being worthy of esteem or respect. On the other hand, net worth refers to your net economic balance, which is derived from the value of all your assets minus the value of your liabilities.
“When your self worth goes up, your net worth goes up with it.”- Mark Victor Hansen
“Self worth comes from one thing – thinking that you are worthy.” Wayne Dyer
With self worth, you undergo an internal appraisal process whereby you assess whether you are “good enough” or “deserving”. From my understanding, self-worth is based on values. If you are not living up to the values that you hold dear, the esteem that you hold for yourself drops. When this happens, you will find it to project yourself confidently; thus impacting your ability to shine on the outside.

It’s action that counts, not words, and we need action now! – So let’s just stop gabbing on about it! It’s completely pointless, and it’s getting us nowhere! – I agree! This is a complete waste of time!” — Monty Python, Life of Brian

How to Move into Action Now
by Richard Lund
Do you ever get stuck? Do you keep reading and researching and looking for answers, but even the most amazing insights don’t seem to make a difference in your life?
If this is the case, the answer may simply be: Action.
Take That First Step
Let me rewind a bit and tell you about someone I knew about 20 years ago. Looking back at this today, I have to imagine that he must have chosen this really challenging life for himself with some minor mental disabilities and a lot of loss in his immediate family. Somehow, we crossed paths, and after a while I started trying to help him with what little I had figured out about life back then.

“Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.” – Leo Tolstoy
Are you happy with the result that you are already getting?
If you are not and would like a different outcome, it is time to do things differently.
As Albert Einstein says, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Last week, I brought my daughter to a free preview workshop on effective examination strategies. To our surprise, the trainers turned out to be highly motivational. During the workshop, the trainers asked the children in the audience two poignant questions in the following order:
Are you willing to change your results?
Are you willing to change to change your results?

“If you believe you can, you probably can. If you believe you won’t, you most assuredly won’t. Belief is the ignition switch that gets you off the launching pad.” – Denis Waitley
Just imagine your mind as a huge processing computer. A mental virus is often used to illustrate a thought that is toxic, causing you emotional stress, discomfort and pain. It corrupts your system, drawing vital energy away and resulting in an eventual breakdown in overall wellness.
Mental viruses are typically downloaded from collective consciousness. They are comprised of beliefs that come from societies, groups and organizations. At first, seeded as an idea in one person, the thought starts to spread from to other people as well. It becomes pervasive. Over time, it takes hold and becomes an accepted norm or belief.

5 Anxiety-Reducing Benefits of Cultivating Loving-Kindness
by Stephen Joseph
In the first few moments of being introduced to the practice of loving-kindness, I was admittedly a little less than enthusiastic. I thought it thoroughly pointless and something only pretentious bohemians or experienced Buddhist practitioners pursued.
I was in my early twenties and suffering terribly under the ravages of at least three separate anxiety disorders. My mind was destabilised and full of fear. All my hopes for the future lay shattered and depression was beginning to knock at the door.

10 Steps to a Debt Free Life
by Roman Soluk
If you don’t live in a deep forest, every day you see lots of information about a release of a new gadget, a new collection of clothes, a new makeup and … the opportunity to take a credit to buy all this. Sometimes it turns out that you take a loan and become dependent on the credit institution.
Perhaps some types of loan or debt are almost inevitable (such as mortgage), but some are really unnecessary. Will you enjoy the purchases you’ve made when you can’t get out of debts? No, for sure! So, let’s find out how to be free of unnecessary obligations.

“I teach people that no matter what the situation is, no matter how chaotic, no matter how much drama is around you, you can heal by your presence if you just stay within your center.” – Deepak Chopra
Drama queens are those with the regular habit of blowing things out of proportion. Drama queens angst over the tiniest of details, makes a big deal and strives to get the attention of people around. Note that the tendency to create a scene is not limited to females alone. There can be drama queens, there can also be drama kings. Know of a friend or colleague who is one?
Using tears as her weapon, the drama queen is great with wrenching your heartstring. She has an insatiable hunger for attention. Not a day goes by without her trying to draw you in with some imaginary near-death experience.

“Show your body that you are aware of yourself even in the moment that you are serving another.” Joy Holland during the interview call
Over a week ago, I invited Joy Holland to have a chat with me on “vesting presence as a self-love gift”. Joy Holland blogs about the gift of presence in order that we can shine our inner brilliance. She is a heart healer, clarity facilitator and practitioner of presence. She also works a lot with women who are abused.
In particular, I wanted to find out from Joy how she – as a mother to two children – brings presence into her everyday life. As a mother myself, I can understand how difficult it is to stay focused in the moment, especially when there is something go on with the children. Many mothers I know tend to be in a state of worry (please read 25 coping tips for stressed-out mothers here).
