Master yourself to manifest abundance

Be Afraid of Nothing, Act as if You Have Wings

“The miracle isn’t that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start.” ~ John Bingham

Be Afraid of Nothing, Act as if You Have Wings
written by Tess Marshall

It takes courage to overcome your fear and do great things.

Doing great things don’t always mean doing big things. Sharing your opinion, meeting somebody new, or driving to an unfamiliar city are relatively small steps that take courage. And they’re all great things.

If you want to overcome fear, begin with small steps.

If your habit is to talk a lot, begin to listen more. If you mostly eat the same foods, try something new and unusual.

Repair Your Soul Matrix With Healing Birth Trauma

subconscious mind

Have you got birth trauma that you are interested to seek healing on?

Are you tuning into an awareness that there is something about your birth that you need to seek a resolution for?

As I discovered, healing birth trauma and removing the thought patterns that no longer serve you can do wonders energetically. You’d find life less of a struggle and experience a sense of freedom. What’s awesome is that manifesting abundance happens with a lot more ease and grace too!

I’d also like to clear a misconception. Some teachers or coaches may say that the idea of healing is erroneous. They believe that there is nothing to heal because you are complete and whole.

Well, it is true.

You are like a diamond; perfect and divine in your soul matrix. You are also a multi-dimensional soul. There is a facet of you that exists at each dimensional level. Hence, any idea about needing to heal from birth trauma could be wrong since you are already whole and complete.

However, a distortion that results in a leakage can exists at any layer, aspect or level affecting your completeness. The luminous shine in a perfectly encoded soul matrix becomes duller as a result. In fact, it is in the human incarnation that distortions to your soul matrix can happen.

Birth traumas or pre-birth traumas affect your soul matrix at root cause. It is imperative that healing or restoration happen here if there is trauma.  Note that trauma can be formed as a result of your perception about the situation. Hence it will help to release any false story and embed a new one that serves you instead.

“In the instant of our first breath, we are infused with the single greatest force in the universe–the power to translate the possibilities of our minds into the reality of our world. To fully awaken to our power, however, requires a subtle change in the way we think of our ourselves in life, a shift in belief. Just the way sound creates visible waves as it travels through a droplet of water, our ‘belief waves’ ripple through the quantum fabric of the universe to become our bodies.” Greg Braden

Should the distortion be left unaddressed, your ability to realise your true self in the physical world with ease and grace becomes impacted. You carry the thought patterns that affect how you behave and respond to the world for years since inception. They are the root causes to your struggles, pain and suffering.

Manifesting the life that you want becomes more difficult when patterns caused by birth trauma are distorted.

How Digging Deep Enhances Your Creativity

“Way down deep, you know what you like. You know what you’re drawn to. You know what will work for you. If you doubt this, or like a good majority of the people, feel totally lost when it comes to envisioning what you want, what is missing isn’t some superhuman insight; what’s missing is very simply trust in yourself.” Fran Sorin, Digging Deep

digging deep book review

I was introduced to Fran Sorin’s Digging Deep: Unearthing Your Creative Roots Through Gardening book after getting acquainted with her online, a few years back. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. Not just any gardening book, it is one that invites readers to awaken their creativity in a soulful process. I enjoyed her book tremendously. Well, Fran has just released her 10th anniversary edition. And so, I decided to jump at the chance of introducing it on my blog for compelling reasons.

As Digging Deep clearly illustrates, gardening is but a metaphor of life. It puts you in touch with the rhythms and cycles, the ups and downs and changes over the seasons. Through gardening, you undergo experiences that bring about emotional wholeness. Very importantly, you learn to let go of the outcome. Instead, you allow the results unfold whilst focusing on your own journey.

7 Ways to Resolve Money Conflicts For Saving Your Marriage

“Treasure your relationships, not your possessions.” Anthony J D Angelo

resolve money couple conflicts

You may perceive two hundred dollars as small change, but your partner kicks up a big fuss.

You may deem the purchase of an item as a necessary expense, but your partner thinks otherwise.

You may place a cap for spending on a vacation at one thousand dollars, but your partner has a different quantum in mind.

Then, there is the question of fairness. Who is entitled to spend the excess money in the joint account first?

With the end of the honeymoon phase in your marriage, you could find that money is the constant thing that you had been bickering about with your spouse.

Well, you are not alone.

It is common for couples to fight over money matters. As I wrote last week, money has been cited as a major factor leading to a marriage breakdown.

How Money Triggers Impact Your Relationship

“When two people love each other and can’t make it work, that’s the real tragedy.” Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

gone girl

Watching the movie – Gone Girl – over the weekend prompted me to finish this article, which I had begun writing a while back. In the movie, Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike, both of who acted as a couple, put up stellar performances. The film, based on a best-selling novel by Gillian Flynn, was engaging, riveting, suspenseful, and disturbing. It made me reflect on how money issues can trigger off reactions that cause a relationship to deteriorate so badly.

As much as a relationship breakdown can bring about financial issues, the reverse is also true. Reportedly, one of the major factors leading to a divorce is brought about by money problems. Differences in money management styles and financial attitudes can bring about conflict in a couple. You are likely to build frustration if you experience constant worries about not having enough money to meet expenses or to build savings and then blaming the other partner for not doing his or her part.

How I manifested a Dream Home with a $700,000 Price Reduction

“Play the picture in your mind – focus on the end result.” The Secret movie

I am so excited! I finally bought a new home. Not only is my new place located centrally, just minutes away from the shopping belt – but I also purchased it at S$700,000 (US$560,000) below its asking price.

It is like a miracle come true for a number of reasons. We have been looking for a new place periodically for some years. Many weekends were spent looking at places up for sale. Until three months ago, the arduous search that spanned a huge radius did not yield results.

Then, unexpectedly, we found one exactly where we would like it to be. Located near the hustle and bustle of city life but tucked in an exclusive corner, my new home is rather convenient. Most importantly, it is within walking distance of my daughter’s school.

The best part of it all is securing the deal at a price that was below the seller’s asking price and also below bank valuation. The difference of S$700,000 (US$560,000) made it possible for us to own a place in our desired location.

Self-Care Healing: Give Yourself Permission

“Self-care is not self-indulgence. It is essential for your well-being. With self-care, you give yourself the sacred permission to be well.”

I had a bad fall last week. It resulted in multiple visits to the clinic for X-rays, reviews and check up. It was not the physical injury that shook me most, but the emotional trauma. For a while, I was also angry with myself for being so careless.

To begin with, I was frustrated over having to spend unnecessary money, time and attention. I did not like the idea of having to reschedule all my appointments and having to delay my work plans. I started off by lying in bed, caught in self-pity. My inner critic went: so much for being advocate of self-care and an author of a Self-Love book!

How Your Body Reacts to Stress from Money Struggles

How Your Body Reacts to Stress from Money Struggles

“Stress is basically a disconnection from the earth, a forgetting of the breath. Stress is an ignorant state. It believes that everything is an emergency. Nothing is that important. Just lie down.” Natalie Goldberg

We already know this: chronic stress brings down overall wellness. Yet, like the vast majority of people, we may find it hard to eliminate anxiety. Unfortunately, if we don’t address any heightened stress levels, physical health can be compromised. Thus, we become more vulnerable to illnesses from a lowered immune system.

One of the main sources of chronic stress is worrying over “not enough money”. Indeed, money stress is one of the main – if not the top – concerns on the minds of the people that I speak with – including friends, clients and relatives. It’s the reason for sleepless nights and tension headaches for these people.

To a large extent, our body is equipped to cope with stress. We have a coping mechanism that protects us from perceived threats. In caveman days, the threats mainly come from physical predators. In today’s world, our perceived threats usually come from needing to meet the demands of modern living. We have to face the issues of balancing work and family life, making ends meet, earning enough to afford a minimum standard of living and so on. If we constantly perceive that we can’t cope, it is when we get into chronic stress.
