Are you an empath or have empath traits?
Do you tend to get extremely exhausted after going to crowded areas?
Have you ever met someone for the first time and immediately feel an ache in your body…and sometime later, find out that this person is having physical symptoms in the same areas in his or her body?
Do you often feel a sharp pain in your heart as another person shares about her struggles with you?
Have you ever an unexplained wave of negative energy when visiting a new place such that you feel sick immediately?
If any of the above is true, you may be someone with empath traits.
The above examples appear in my family, friends, clients and most of all, myself!
After reflecting on my own experiences and knowing others who have them, I realise that I know a fair bit about what life for one having empath traits is like.
Wondering if you should go for a past life therapy?
Perhaps you have got an inkling that the negative patterns that you are currently having stem from blocks that were created in past lives.
It’s not as if you have not tried to address your issues. You may have gone for some childhood therapy or counselling sessions, yet you are still stuck or feeling blocked. The same patterns keep repeating.
One great analogy is that you’ve been told not to touch a boiling kettle but you can’t stop yourself from doing so. Hence, you have to contend with burning your fingers over and over again. If anything, that you keep facing the same patterns is a sign that your issues are not fully resolved.
You are now thinking that perhaps your issues have a root cause from way back. If there is such a thing as past lives, you suspect that your issues could have started even prior to this incarnation. Then again, you can’t help but feel some doubt arising: is the thing about past life spiritual woo-woo?
Well, allow me to de-mystify what a past life therapy is. Find out what transformative shifts can happen during a session. Learn how you can finally address the root cause of your current life blocks and stop self-sabotaging patterns from repeating.

Do you know what the difference is: intention setting versus goal setting?
While both ideas are often used these days, knowing the difference can be helpful. If anything, intention or goal setting exercises tend to leave most people confused, uninspired or disempowered either way. And you want to avoid that!
Conversely, with knowing the difference between intention setting versus goal setting, you get to be more aware of what combining the two can do for you. It’s not one or the other. In my article, I’d like to highlight the pros and cons of each separately.
Ultimately, I recommend a process that not only leads you to reaching your desired outcome but in a way that also elicits a desirable positive experience. It’s also a process that is holistic – a meeting of heart, mind, body and spirit! The idea is to create authentic actionable guideposts that are challenging yet not allow blocks to obstruct your success.

Overview of the Enneagram Type 9: The Peacemaker, Mediator, Spiritual Seeker
If you are an Enneagram Type 9, you are about harmony. You are peace-loving, trusting, easy-going and even-tempered. Your mantra is to go with the flow. Sitting on the crown of the Enneagram, you hold spiritual instincts. What is ironical is that despite your orientation to spirituality, you are potentially the most grounded in the physical world.
You exude a positive energy. What appeals is the pleasant side of life. You enjoy being stress-free and desire life to be effortless. Being optimistic, you carry the faith that things will somehow work out on its own. Your belief is that everything will be okay should everyone stay cool and collected and no one rocks the boat.

“Overthinking a situation can lead to a phenomenon called analysis paralysis which results in no decision being made.”
Find yourself emotionally and mentally paralyzed?
Don’t know which way to go?
Perhaps it is not that you lack options, but you could be contemplating more than one. You have got many wonderful what-if ideas. They have been in the playground of your mind. Each has called out to you until you don’t know which to choose.
Then again, it could all boil down to this: you can’t decide if you are willing to give up a job that you are not passionate about (but which pays you a comfortable salary) for something that you love but which is untested.
You have seen them all. There is plenty of advice of “do what you love” over the internet. You are drawn to the feel-good factor of the advice. A part of you is resonating with its tune. You can’t help wondering if there is something bigger and more than what your office job entails.

“Treasure your relationships, not your possessions.” Anthony J D Angelo
You may perceive two hundred dollars as small change, but your partner kicks up a big fuss.
You may deem the purchase of an item as a necessary expense, but your partner thinks otherwise.
You may place a cap for spending on a vacation at one thousand dollars, but your partner has a different quantum in mind.
Then, there is the question of fairness. Who is entitled to spend the excess money in the joint account first?
With the end of the honeymoon phase in your marriage, you could find that money is the constant thing that you had been bickering about with your spouse.
Well, you are not alone.
It is common for couples to fight over money matters. As I wrote last week, money has been cited as a major factor leading to a marriage breakdown.

“Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards.” Soren Kierkegaard
In the book, Multiple Sources of Income, Robert Allen presents 10 sure-fire ways to generating more than $100,000 a year, on a part-time basis and with little or no money. If the topic interests you, then by all means buy his book. However, should my personal experience be anything to go by, allow me to share that some of my best tips in the pursuit of multiple sources of income.
Well, my tips come from having made many unwise decisions in finance, stock trading and buying into “make money quick” schemes. In the last two decades, I have ventured into many opportunities: from investing in Bordeaux wine in a French vineyards, physical gold holdings, foreign exchange, property in the States and elsewhere in the world, and so on. I have also explored a few business models online, only to realise later that they did not work out.

“A confession has to be part of your new life.” – Ludwig Wittgenstein
If you had read my book, Self-Love Secrets or been a subscriber to my posts, then you already know that I have had blocks with self-love for several years in my life. However, what I may not have told my story quite so clearly previously is this……
Right after becoming a certified life coach a few years ago, I thought I had finally learned what the magic bullets are for personal transformation. And so, armed with the desire to “contribute to humanity”, it seemed easy to dish wonderful tips out to others and especially through a website.
Yet, things were not the same on the personal front. Time and time again, due to some situational triggers, I would fall back into the same old negative self-talk patterns of criticism, rejection and judgment. I was unhappy and impatient with myself.
