Cultivating creativity
In my personal growth journey, I have found that what helps are positive affirmations, quotes and sayings. The more I repeat these, the greater is my ability to make a positive shift. Thus, I am reminded about loving and accepting myself unconditionally. I am reminded about believing in my dreams. I am reminded not to listen to the debilitating stories that I have been telling myself.
Having experienced benefits, I intend to now share affirmations, sayings and quotes from my Abundance Tapestry Facebook Page. Well, I had been having a blast with creating banners with inspired sayings and posting them on my FB Wall in conjunction with my online launch of Self-Love Secrets. Many of the background photos come from my personal archives.

To me, abundance quotes are worth gold. I enjoy reading abundance quotes because I feel expansive instantly. They serve as wonderful reminders for me about holding a paradigm of prosperity.
Reading abundance quotes tells me a lot about what true wealth really means. I am inspired to live the truth that the words convey. Knowing that they are espoused from some of my favorite people on this planet offers an extra kick!
There lived a little bird in the forest. It had been singing songs ever since it was born. It learned how to sing from papa bird, mama bird and all the other birds in the vicinity. It would sing everyday.

One day, while the little bird was singing on the branch of a tree, it got interrupted by the sound of a little boy. The little bird looked down. A boy was pointing at it with his finger and saying “what a sad haunting melody!”
There are several things that you can do to make your creative visualization sessions fun. You already know how important it is to use the power of pictures to assist in manifestations. However, if you have left your creative mind languishing for a long time, you may just need a little help in getting started. A little imagination can go a long way in making visualizing exercises fun-filled….and far from boring.
I have put together 10 sure-fire tips to help you have lots of fun in your creative visualisation sessions:
Creative Visualization Tip #1: Spark Off From A Single Idea.
You do not need to have a very clear picture at first. Starting off with a single idea is fine. Just follow your heart and see where it leads you. Allow your imagination some freedom as you follow your heart. Do not over-think or analyse. Nor feel like you have to restrict yourself when visualising the things you want.
Many personal development experts share about the benefits of using mind maps. My post today takes it one step further with how I have used the concept of mind mapping for self analysis. I also share illustrations from my personal art journal that I created some time ago. I drew them as part of my pre-vision board exercises.
The (above) mind map picture that I did for self-analysis was my first. It may look simplistic but it has helped launched a myriad of creative ideas. Regarding self-analysis, awareness of who I am is important to help bring me into alignment with the vision of my future self.
Do you enjoy reading daily inspiration messages? Well, I have the practice of doing this almost everyday. It is almost like a habit now. I have been reading positive sayings, quotes and affirmations from just about anywhere; books, sites and magazines. I also post them on my Facebook account as much as I can.
Not too long ago, I even started collecting some of my favorite ones in a folder and turning them into works of art in the form of art journals, craft work, collages and digital vision boards. If you have following my site, you would have already seen photos of projects I have made.

I compiled a list of affirmations for children recently from a wish to help mine with self-mastery and positive programming . As adults, many of our limiting thought patterns can be attributed to childhood conditioning or having unconsciously adopted negative societal beliefs. While we look for ways to help realign ourselves, how about starting with a better way forward in our children?
Affirmations For Children in Homemade Flip Cards
Most certainly, we can help our kids with instilling good values, confidence, focus and belief. Positive affirmations for children can do a lot to assist them in developing healthy self esteem. We can also target some for the purposes of having an easier time with their school work.
More than just a game, engaging in the creative visualization exercise can apparently help give your dreams some lift. Imagine floating your fantasies wrapped in pink bubbles into the air and allowing the Universe to bring them in manifestation! Sounds like fun? Well, it is. The best part is that you can possibly turn your dreams into reality.

The pink bubble technique is shared by Shakti Gawain, an internationally renowned teacher of consciousness in her book, Creative Visualization: Use the Power of Imagination to Create What You Want in Life. Shakti has facilitated thousands of individuals in developing greater awareness, balance and wholeness in their lives.

Have you been keeping a list of lovely quotes, romantic sayings or catchy phrases every once in a while which you get from magazines, books or online? If you have been thinking of creating a wealth vision board, how about incorporating feng shui elements and pictures into it? There are many feng shui symbols for wealth, luck and prosperity. We can see them in huge display at shopping centers and stores this time of the year.
