Tools and techniques for self help
The Money Gremlin is the critical voice that goes inside your head on matters related to finance. If you are to go silent for a while, you will become aware that what occupies your mind is your self-talk. In fact, 80-90% of our self-talk tend to be negative.
And I am guessing that more women than men is likely to have a horrid looking money gremlin. Not too long ago, I had found out from a research study that women tend to be more stressed than men and for most women, our main source of stress comes from money.
With the Money Gremlin in charge, you are having this internal negative dialogue about finances all the time. If you are constantly having money worries or struggles, chances are you are being hypnotised by your Money Gremlin. It happens when you can’t stop thinking and fretting over finances. The non-stop chatter can also cause you to experience insomnia, keeping you awake at night.

Do you struggle with building self worth?
Perhaps, building self worth is an area that you have been grappling with for a long time. There were moments that you feel great about yourself but usually and mostly, you are in your old patterns of believing that you are not worthy or deserving. I have found that women, in particular, tend to undervalue themselves! It does not matter what profession or job they do. Some of my clients are corporate executives. Yet others are entrepreneurs. Many battle with low self-worth issues.
If this is true of you, I don’t blame you if you don’t even want to attend old class gatherings any more. I hear you. What is making you feel sick is thinking about how far behind you are from everyone in terms of success and everything else. Should there be one more picture of your friend’s perfect life being posted on Facebook, you swear that you are going to throw up.

What are the steps to self discovery?
To begin with, do you know yourself well?
Are you clear about you want in life?
Do you have a sense of purpose?
What defines you?
What makes you happy?
It may be that you find yourself answering “no” or “don’t really know” to most of the questions above.
Well, should this be true, you are not alone.
It may also be that while you are happy with some parts of your life, there could be also parts that you do not like. Any dissatisfaction is an indication that you have got things about your life that are unresolved.
An angel appeared in my dream last night.
She gently placed the globe in the palm of my hands.
And she whispered, “the world is your oyster“.
(Note: I am reposting my Self Love Quiz as I have decided to host it on a new quiz platform. It’s now working more beautifully than before. Hence, if you are seeing this post for the first time, you can take the all-new Self Love Quiz (check it out below). While the format is slightly different, the quiz comes with the same questions today!)
Do you love yourself unconditionally?
Do you face challenges with accepting yourself completely – warts, moles, blemishes and all?
Well, when I first started on my healing journey, I have had little idea that I had challenges with loving myself in the first place. I was not very conscious back then.
It’s the reason why I created the Self-Love Quiz after gaining some important insights. I had hoped that it could help someone else out there too…..and…judging from previous feedback, it did!
Hence, if you are wondering how the relationship with yourself is like, take the Self Love Quiz below…
If you often find life a struggle, please know that you can reverse the situation through harnessing the power of your subconscious mind. You do not have to settle with constantly being in self-sabotage, having a dark rain of cloud following you or living an uninspired existence.
“The more intensely we feel about an idea or a goal, the more assuredly the idea, buried deep in our subconscious, will direct us along the path to its fulfillment.”
– Earl Nightingale
Think of the subconscious mind as like a hard drive on a computer.

I assume that you are already very familiar with what positive affirmations are by now. But what about incantations? What is the difference between an incantation and a positive affirmation? Well, I found out what the difference was when I attended Tony Robbins’ Unleash the Power Within seminar.
What are incantations, in the first place?
As I understand it, one easy way to know what incantations are is to recall the Harry Potter movies that you’ve watched. You would have seen Hermionie Granger making an incantation as she waves her magic wand and in a powerful stance. Incantations are usually made with a lot of energy, which leads to powerful manifestation or visioning success.
Incantations are statements of wishes or desires that you say with absolute firmness. You engage your full body and physiology when incanting. You have 100% belief that manifesting your desire is coming true for you. No doubt exists in your mind.Continue reading
Are you a stressed out mom?
As mothers, we have multiple tasks to fulfill such as preparing meals for our children, supervising their homework, and making sure their needs are met. We may also need to handle domestic chores, face our clients, run our businesses or meet work datelines as well as mange the household finance. It is no wonder that many mothers experience overwhelm. And should the relationships with our spouse be difficult, stress can hit a high.
“The first time around as a mom, I held on really tight and I was so stressed.” – Bridgette Wilson
Triggers for the Stressed Out Mom
Being a mother myself, I know that stress is something that I have to learn to overcome. While my children have brought me tremendous joy, bringing them up has certainly not been a walk in the park. One stress trigger for me is trying to meet the demanding educational standards here in Singapore.

Imagine walking over hot coals in a firewalk experience at around 1200 degrees Farenheit (650 degrees Celcius). The firewalk experience covers about 15 feet which will take an average of 5-7 steps and therefore, it’s long enough to create burns. It would be potentially more injurious say than getting scalded by boiling water from a kettle.
Sounds scary? Well, Tony Robbins Unleash the Power Within (UPW) Event has a firewalk experience that can be risky and yet life-changing. I decided to take up the challenge last week when I attended the event here in Singapore.
For the firewalk experience, a temperature reading is taken using an infrared laser thermometer before the coals are declared ready to be walked on. It is a rite of passage for breaking limits. In case you don’t already know, firewalks have been used by many cultures over the years, as a symbolic act of faith, initiation and courage.
Would you be up for a firewalk? While it is voluntary, I’d say that it would be crazy not to give it a go. After all, if you have said “yes” to attending to a UPW event, it helps to keep an open mind. And it does not matter even if you were pulled along to attend one. Continue reading
Supermoon energies can be disruptive, causing you to experience major upheavals. And the next Supermoon event is happening soon on Jan 31! Allow me to share some tips on how you can handle some of the intense energies going on during this period. By being prepared, you are better able to meet any challenges that arise with greater insight and understanding.
For a start, just reflect on recent happenings….
Is this true for you….like you’ve been called to be bolder, take a risk…step out of your comfort zone…release fears….yet the invitation to step up is also happening in a dramatic fashion?
If so, I bet the shifts have been uncomfortable. You’ve been wanting to make a bold move but you are also caught up in your old limiting stories once again. And so, you’ve been holding back.
What’s more the inner conflict could be manifesting in a negative physical incident for you. It may be an accident, an argument, things not going as planned or as usual and so on. These were examples that actually happened to a few of those who I spoke to. In fact, I personally encountered a disruptive incident which took me by surprise. It was supposed to be a soul nurturing exercise but it did not happen that way. Luckily, I was able to set aside my hurt and acknowledged how I had contributed to the issue at hand quickly.
