Using Emotional Freedom Technique to clear emotional blocks before the Law of Attraction can work.
Toxic relationships are those which have become extreme. You experience a sense of dread, misery, illness and nervous energy, whenever you have to handle people with toxic energy. They can be people in the office, friends or even family members.
Toxic people are either skilled in poking holes or dampening your aura. You cannot help but feel affected by their energy. It is possible to feel energetically drained even after a mere 10 minutes with them. I recall myself having to make excuses to go to the bathroom repeatedly, whenever a particular friend with lots of negative energy come over for a visit. My article today shares 25 ways on handling toxic relationships.
The thing is that in order to change our negative beliefs, we need to be able to first identify what they are. The obvious ones are easy to address. Because we already know what these are. But how do we identify the rest that are hidden in our subconscious?
I received a question about changing limiting money beliefs from D Smith, a reader to my newsletter, a week ago. His experience is a very common one. In his email, Smith asked….

Self care is an act of loving yourself.
Any act of self care is to nourish your mind, body or spirit. Whatever it is, you do something nurturing. You don’t put off from taking a needed break or having some me-time. You create a better relationship with self.
Self care is taking care of your inner home. And obviously, you do not wreck yourself apart when you undertake self-care. This means that you don’t give excuses for feeling tired, crying or going for an expensive pedicure. You please yourself rather than others. Very importantly, you do not experience guilt, shame or blame. So it may mean eating more, less or having an indulgence every now and then. You take a balanced approach to overall holistic well-being.
I had a dream in the wee hours of Sunday morning. When I woke up from the dream, I decided that I needed to watch the move “Inception” as soon as possible. My dream had felt real. It was intriguing that I was able to understand its message for me while I was in the dream state. I wanted to find out if “Inception” had more to teach me about dreams.
“Dreams feel real while we’re in them. It’s only when we wake up that we realize something was actually strange.” — Inception
Fear had been a long time companion of mine. We have had many conversations in the past over coffee chats and meditation sittings. At first, I listened to Fear intently. I observed how Fear was doing a great job in her warnings to me.
My mind went into calculating, analyzing and thinking with all the points raised by Fear. The more issues she brought up, the more she gesticulated; and the more, she spoke with emotion. Soon, Fear found herself in overdrive.
I noted Fear’s good intent. “Fear is telling me to play small so that I will feel safe”, I said to myself. Clearly, she did not want me to fail. I nodded, in acknowledgment of her pledge of support. Her stern advice went in a menacing voice “Surely, you do not want to be embarrassed? Any signs of failure are not going to look good!”
Consider creating a unique deck of positive affirmation cards using your private collection of favorite of positive affirmations, mantras or sayings!
Have you been keeping a list of lovely quotes, romantic sayings or catchy phrases every once in a while which you get from magazines, books or online? Like the idea of mini collages for affirmation cards on-the-go (see picture example above for end product) ? If so, let’s get crafty with today’s post – creating affirmation cards the fun, cheap and easy way!
To align with abundance is to realise first and foremost: We are all Energy.
We come from the same Source. Our physical BEing is an expression of Source Energy wishing to know itself. Source Energy can only know itself experientially. It cannot know its essential nature without the benefit of experience. For instance, it cannot truly know that it is Divine Love without an experience of love or its polar-opposite, fear.
The essential nature of Source/God/Universe is love, peace, compassion. It is of pure intelligence and infinite abundance. It is ever-present, eternal, expansive and never-changing. Since we are Source expressed in a physical form, our basic nature is one and the same.

Masks are often used in masquerade parties. They are costume accessories that disguise one’s true appearance. In today’s post, I am using the metaphor of the masks as facade devices. You use masks to hide your true self. You find comfort and solace in that the world does not know who you really are. There can be also a different mask that you wear for various groups of people. After all, you have important public images or persona to uphold.

Stacey from Create a Balance emailed me saying that she was inspired with the term “attracting life balance” while meditating, which could put us working together. We decided to kick off our joint collaboration with this interview of her and a discussion that marries the ideas of “the law of attraction” and “life balance” together.
“That was when I saw the Pendulum. The sphere, hanging from a long wire set into the ceiling of the choir, swayed back and forth with isochronal majesty. I knew — but anyone could have sensed it in the magic of that serene breathing — that the period was governed by the square root of the length of the wire and by pi, that number which however irrational to sublunar minds, through a higher rationality binds the circumference and diameter of all possible circles. The time it took the sphere to swing from end to end was determined by an arcane conspiracy between the most timeless of measures: the singularity of the point of suspension, the duality of the plane’s dimensions, the triadic beginning of pi, the secret quadratic nature of the root, and the unnumbered perfection of the circle itself.”
— Foucault’s Pendulum, Umberto Eco
Pendulum dowsing is a skill that I have been trying to hone since last year. It is the practice of asking your subconscious mind/Higher Self/Spiritual Guide (depending on your intent) questions and getting the answers by noting the swing of a pendulum. It is a process of discovering answers to questions that do not normally come through your five senses or through logic, but as conscious feedback. Basic dowsing gives a yes/no response to questions asked. Because the steps are so simple and do not require you to be a psychic, anyone can learn it!
