“Rise up and be the person that you are meant to be.” anonymous
When the Universe responds to your wish and dreams by sending an opportunity your way, what do you do?
Do you back down in fear because it will mean having to step up?
Or do you rise up to action and courageously take it up?
Fear in Disguise: Excuses
“Nothing diminishes anxiety than action.” Walter Anderson
An opportunity had opened up.

Albert Einstein Quotes has become a byword for sayings by a genius. We all know how brilliant a physicist he was. Sometimes, I would find my coaching clients getting this glint of awareness and appreciation when I inject one of his quotes during our conversation.
“The significant problems we have cannot be solved at the same level of thinking with which we created them.” Albert Einstein Quote #6 below
While I cannot wrap my brains around the Theory of Relativity, I enjoy Einstein’s wit and insight into life and consciousness. Even though we cannot verify whether this letter came from him or not, it is a fact that he has said many wise things in his lifetime. When we want to quote someone wise, his name will invariably come up.
I have used many Albert Einstein quotes on my site as well and I’d like to dedicate a single post to express my gratitude.
So, here is a list of 21 Best Albert Einstein Quotes…

Health is a Blessing. Health is Wealth!
I would like to announce the launch of my new site that espouses: Aroma Health is Wealth. My new site is created so that I can share about tips on essential oil healing. I am excited as it is my first mobile-friendly site, making it easier for all to read about essential oils on our handphones. Despite a one-month delay due to technical issues that cropped up, the site is finally up. Yayyyy!
My journey really started more than 2 years when I was first introduced to essential oils. However, when I first began, I was largely skeptical. The oils were introduced to me as part of a complementary program because indications of cancer cells had shown up in a biofeedback scan. Even though I healed in less than 6 months, I was still unsure about the part that the oils played in my recovery. Was it real or was it psychological?

“I have no regrets.
I have spent my life, so much of it, building up this country. There’s nothing more that I need to do.
At the end of the day, what have I got?
A successful Singapore.
What have I given up?
My life.”
– Mr Lee Kuan Yew
I was going to post my usual spin of articles on my blog. However, I had been feeling rather blue the whole morning. And so I thought I would share what’s been going on with me.
My tears flowed when I woke up and read the news. Singapore’s founding father, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, had passed away at 3:18am. He was 91. He was the leader who guided us for 50 years since independence.

I thought it would be interesting to share my perspective on 50 shades of fear. Clients had been coming to me with their issues which are rooted in various forms of fear. In case you are wondering, I did not read the book 50 Shades of Grey nor have watched the movie. However, I would like to borrow the theme of 50 shades.
As we already know, fear can manifest at different levels and degrees of negative emotions; which is influenced by the story that our minds tell. Our fears make up the stories we tell ourselves.
For instance, fear can be in the form of worry….or in more severe cases, it can grow into depression. Fear can also be in the form of nervousness or a diagnosed panic disorder. We can also express fear in the form of blame or if we feel it strongly, we become antagonistic. Obvious symptoms can range from breaking out in cold sweat, turning ashen white, or the racing of our hearts. Whether a niggling sense of anxiety or intense anger, all are signs of fear.

“Infinite potential is the quality of conscious awareness. Abundance is the truth of infinite potential realised in the physical.” Evelyn Lim, Abundance Tapestry
Abundance is the soul experience of fullness, completeness and expansiveness. Your physical self experiences the truth of your soul afforded through a time-space reality. Yet, it is via present moment awareness (often afforded via meditation) that your physical self enter into infiniteness. It is from this field that you realize the potential of being and the nature of existential reality.
The physical is the way for truth realization. Your soul gets to experience itself. It is through physical experience that conscious awareness gets integrated. Infinite potential is the quality of conscious awareness. Abundance is the truth of infinite potential realized in the physical.

“A dream is your creative vision for your life in the future. You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown.” Denis Waitley
Heard of the saying, “If you do what you always did, you will get what you always got.”
Up to this point, you have attracted all that you have as a result of your vibrational state. However, if you are hoping for more, you need to embody the Being state that will attract more. In the physical dimension, this could mean that you have to undertake actions that feel like a stretch…until you are the embodiment of the expanded state.
In short, go beyond your comfort zone.
Does this mean that you have to do the things that you dislike doing?
Does this mean that you have to engage in public speaking even if you have no plans to go on stage?

“You can have results or excuses. Not both.” anonymous
Do you make excuses?
Could your reasons behind your action or lack of action be really excuses in disguise?
If you don’t recognize your excuses, here are some examples….
I can’t.
I simply can’t.
I might.
I try.
…..when I am ready, I will.
…..maybe tomorrow.
…..maybe next week.
…..maybe next year.
It is impossible.
It is just too difficult.
Well, one of life’s worst habits is making excuses. Excuses that you can give in place of taking needed actions. If you consistently focus on how difficult doing something is, you can stop yourself from doing and becoming your best.

“For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: ‘If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?’ And whenever the answer has been ‘No’ for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.” Steve Jobs
Do you have a Plan B?
If you don’t, perhaps it is time you put some thought into it. Plan B could well be more important than your Plan A.
I was reading a Straits Times article written by a career coach on the importance of having plan B last week and felt compelled to add my thoughts about it.
The Difference between Plan A and B
Plan A forms your corporate life, the one whereby you spend most of your waking hours in an office. On the other hand, Plan B forms your post-corporate life. Plan B consists of activities that you can engage in outside of working hours as an employee. You could be doing social work or it could be something that is income-generating.
Most people – perhaps including yourself – are caught up with Plan A. If you are in a corporate, Plan A alone probably keeps you very busy. Already used to the same routine, you may even experience a sense of inertia to explore avenues beyond Plan A.

“A Christmas wish is sent to you that all your dreams will come true.”
I spotted a dream board with the heading “All I want for Christmas is…” at Mcdonalds last week. My daughter and I were shopping when we decided to take a short break at the fast food outlet. Right at one end of the counter was the huge dream board.
Seeing the dream board reminds me about why I love Christmas.
To me, Christmas is synonymous with abundance for it often implies wishes, magic and miracles. We usually draw up lists, in the hope that “Santa” would be able to fulfill them. Not just for ourselves. Many of us also take the opportunity to offer gift donations, remembering those who are destitute and in need.
Indeed, there is the joy of sharing and the delight of receiving presents. Most importantly, it means attracting our heart’s desires and helping others achieve theirs. I guess it is no coincidence why I am so connected to the whole message about abundance. My birthday happens to fall on Christmas Eve!
So, what do I WANT for Christmas?
