On a scale of 1-10, how much self confidence would you say that you have? You rate 1 if you have extremely low self-confidence and 10 if you have high self confidence. Avoid putting too much thinking into the rating process, the score should come up intuitively.
“Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.”- Norman Vincent Peale
There are many everyday signs of low self confidence. It happens when you have little trust, cannot make decisions on your own and are constantly caught in a sense of helplessness. Invariably, your attitude towards life is poor.
Should your self confidence be low, it shows up in your awkwardness in social settings. You may constantly look at the ground, quiver in anxiety and keep apologising for yourself in front of others. One client who came to see me last week about her low self-confidence kept shaking and shifting her legs nervously for a whole one hour.

“We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face… we must do that which we think we cannot.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
In today’s post, I am featuring an interview with Tess Marshall from The Bold Life. She has a lot to teach us on fear and living boldly.

You may be wondering how to develop self acceptance when it has been a constant battle. The advice “just be yourself” is one that is not easy to follow. Not especially when you are getting into many wrong ideas about what beauty is.
“To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself.”
– Thich Nhat Hanh
(When you accept yourself, your confidence shows from the inside.)
Bombarded by advertisements, you are encouraged to believe that you need the latest it-bag, platform shoes or anti-aging cream in order to be beautiful. Thus, life becomes a constant strife to acquire these items.

“The more connections you and your lover make, not just between your bodies, but between your minds, your hearts, and your souls, the more you will strengthen the fabric of your relationship, and the more real moments you will experience together.” – Barbara De Angelis
If you have had no previous luck with members of the opposite sex, consider creating a Relationship Vision Board. Oh yes, in case you are wondering, a vision board can be a great manifesting tool when properly applied. With the use of a vision board, you are creating focus on what you desire.

“Love is always bestowed as a gift – freely, willingly and without expectation. We don’t love to be loved; we love to love.”
– Leo Buscaglia
I have created some love coupons for your download (see link below). You can redeem them for yourself (or give the coupons to someone you love to redeem them with you). As the one redeeming the coupon, it means that you give yourself the permission to ask and to receive too. This is an act of self-love and self-care. The permission to ask and to receive is also an important practice for activating the Law of Attraction.
Love coupons are joyful, fun and convenient. They bring on smiles and laughter for both parties. You can also cash-in on them anytime. Whenever you are in the mood for a specific experience, simply cut off the appropriate coupon for use.
I received some very nice coupons from my two children for my birthday in December last year. The love coupons are about giving me time off, massages and even a blank one to fill in anything I want. In fact, the lovely gift from my girls sparked off the idea for creating free love coupons for your download. I have yet to redeem any of mine but I sure will be doing soon. (Thanks, my two lovely angels!)

“When love is lost, do not bow your head in sadness; instead keep your head up high and gaze into heaven for that is where your broken heart has been sent to heal.” ~ anonymous
Your heart is broken from a relationship that is finally over. And so, it feels as if your entire world is crushed. You cannot bear the thought of not having that special someone in your life. Never mind even if you have just been betrayed, taken advantage of, left to the sharks and so on from your ex. You just dislike the idea of having to spend special occasions such as Valentine’s, New Year’s or Christmas Day alone.

“Our greatest pretenses are built up not to hide the evil and the ugly in us, but our emptiness. The hardest thing to hide is something that is not there.” – Eric Hoffer
Her nickname is Little Swallow in Chinese. It is a name that is very suitable for she is petite, fair-skinned and full of life. Aptly, the word “swallow” in a name is a symbolic of feminine beauty. I was struck by her sunny nature from the moment I met her. Of Korean and Chinese descent, Little Swallow was our local tour guide during our trip in December.

Find it difficult to open your heart? If happens when you cut off your feelings. It could be that you have been dealing with life mostly from your head. There is a certain disconnection about you that others can sense. Others may even call you cold. You believe it to be mostly true for you do not recall shedding a tear even while watching the most tragic scene in the Titanic movie.
“Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead.”
– Oscar Wilde
Very likely, your difficulty stems from past trauma. You have been hurt real bad previously. So your resourceful subconscious mind protects you with a shield around your heart. It is so thick that little love can penetrate through.

Creating a powerful personal life vision has many benefits. It offers you guidance in charting the way forward. It also drives the actions, decisions and behavior that you undertake. Where it is lived into, it basically sums up who you are, your life story and the meaning you have created.
Some people don’t bother with making a personal life vision. Well, not having one can leave you like a boat without a rudder; subject to the currents of life. You are more likely to paddle along (which makes your progress slow) or go around in circles. However, if you hope to lead a life that is more than mediocre and one that can potentially allow you to be happier, you will need to take charge.
“You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.” – Woodrow Wilson
