“There is great beauty in going through life without anxiety or fear. Half our fears are baseless, and the other half discreditable.” Christian Nestell Bovee
Are you feeling anxious over some money issue?
Are you financially stuck?
Are you having problems with attracting clients with your business?
Feeling anxious is a normal human reaction. However, please know that anxiety does nothing to help you out of your situation. In fact, being anxious merely increases your stress levels. You start to feel poor, depressed and frustrated.
Negative emotions lower your vibrations which make things worse if you are hoping to attract a better set of outcomes, by virtue of the Law of Attraction.

Could your low self worth be affecting your net worth?
Oddly enough, whether you perceive yourself as worthy or not can affect your net worth. According to the dictionary, self worth means the quality of being worthy of esteem or respect. On the other hand, net worth refers to your net economic balance, which is derived from the value of all your assets minus the value of your liabilities.
“When your self worth goes up, your net worth goes up with it.”- Mark Victor Hansen
“Self worth comes from one thing – thinking that you are worthy.” Wayne Dyer
With self worth, you undergo an internal appraisal process whereby you assess whether you are “good enough” or “deserving”. From my understanding, self-worth is based on values. If you are not living up to the values that you hold dear, the esteem that you hold for yourself drops. When this happens, you will find it to project yourself confidently; thus impacting your ability to shine on the outside.

“An entrepreneur assumes the risk and is dedicated and committed to the success of whatever he or she undertakes.” – Victor Kiam
Enter the Exciting Age of Entrepreneurship, with having a “preneur” tag in trend. Some of these tags have been coined by specific groups of people for the creation of online movements. I have been noticing an avalanche of preneur- labels such as “solopreneur”, “mompreneur”, “lovepreneur”, “photopreneur”, “successpreneur”, “careerpreneur”, etc.
Indeed, the path to entrepreneurship has been made a whole lot easier with the internet. Coming from a banking and finance background, I used to think entrepreneurs as those who seek millions in venture capital to raise funds for an innovation or project. However, in recent years, I have observed that the term is being increasingly used by many small business owners on the web as well.

“When we are no longer able to change a situation – we are challenged to change ourselves.” – Viktor E. Frankl
“Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.” – Leo Tolstoy
Are you happy with the result that you are already getting?
If you are not and would like a different outcome, it is time to do things differently.
As Albert Einstein says, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Last week, I brought my daughter to a free preview workshop on effective examination strategies. To our surprise, the trainers turned out to be highly motivational. During the workshop, the trainers asked the children in the audience two poignant questions in the following order:
Are you willing to change your results?
Are you willing to change to change your results?

“You are what you think about all day long.” Dr Robert Schuller
“If you believe you can, you probably can. If you believe you won’t, you most assuredly won’t. Belief is the ignition switch that gets you off the launching pad.” – Denis Waitley
Just imagine your mind as a huge processing computer. A mental virus is often used to illustrate a thought that is toxic, causing you emotional stress, discomfort and pain. It corrupts your system, drawing vital energy away and resulting in an eventual breakdown in overall wellness.
Mental viruses are typically downloaded from collective consciousness. They are comprised of beliefs that come from societies, groups and organizations. At first, seeded as an idea in one person, the thought starts to spread from to other people as well. It becomes pervasive. Over time, it takes hold and becomes an accepted norm or belief.

“I teach people that no matter what the situation is, no matter how chaotic, no matter how much drama is around you, you can heal by your presence if you just stay within your center.” – Deepak Chopra
Drama queens are those with the regular habit of blowing things out of proportion. Drama queens angst over the tiniest of details, makes a big deal and strives to get the attention of people around. Note that the tendency to create a scene is not limited to females alone. There can be drama queens, there can also be drama kings. Know of a friend or colleague who is one?
Using tears as her weapon, the drama queen is great with wrenching your heartstring. She has an insatiable hunger for attention. Not a day goes by without her trying to draw you in with some imaginary near-death experience.

“Show your body that you are aware of yourself even in the moment that you are serving another.” Joy Holland during the interview call
Over a week ago, I invited Joy Holland to have a chat with me on “vesting presence as a self-love gift”. Joy Holland blogs about the gift of presence in order that we can shine our inner brilliance. She is a heart healer, clarity facilitator and practitioner of presence. She also works a lot with women who are abused.
In particular, I wanted to find out from Joy how she – as a mother to two children – brings presence into her everyday life. As a mother myself, I can understand how difficult it is to stay focused in the moment, especially when there is something go on with the children. Many mothers I know tend to be in a state of worry (please read 25 coping tips for stressed-out mothers here).

“The power of belief, the absolutely awesome incredible power of belief, is the genie in your life. Let me say that again: The absolutely awesome and incredible power of your belief is the genie in your life.” — Eldon TAylor
I have had the pleasure of receiving a copy on I Believe: When What You Believe Matters!, the latest book written by Eldon Taylor, a Hay House Author, for review. It was published a week ago. To be honest, having read many books of the same genre, I was not very excited to get to it initially. However, after picking it up, I have to acknowledge that I found it rather good. I share my thoughts below.
We already know that our beliefs largely create or influence our reality. If we expect to succeed, we are more likely to experience success. Conversely, if we believe that we are going to fail, we are likely to meet with failure. Yet, do we take the trouble to truly examine some of the beliefs that we hold on to? Are these beliefs serving or sabotaging us?

“Sometimes the strength of motherhood is greater than natural laws.” – Barbara Kingsolver
(The photo is a cheesecake that my daughter, Hui, baked last year. Needless to say, it was Yummy!!)
Mother’s day is an occasion to celebrate you (assuming you are one) being a mother.
Don’t undermine your role.
As the nurturing caregiver, you are not only the one who makes sure that your children’s basic needs are met but also the one who is the cheerleader to your children’s dreams. You help shape the lives of tomorrow’s leaders.
